which work with the Neighborhoods Resource Center, the Mayor's Office for
Neighborhoods, Metro council members, other elected officials, and various
metro departments to improve the quality of life along our section of Beautification - works to improve the appearance of the neighborhood. We sponsor at least four clean-up days per year and have taken over the maintenance of the medians from TDOT with a combination of donations and dues. Crime - works with the metro Police Department to help reduce and prevent
crime. Also promotes use of the Trespass
Waiver, which allows police officers
to investigate suspicious activity and take enforcement action, if needed,
on business property without specifically being called. Click

Steering - Includes the elected officers and provides leadership as well as setting the meeting agendas. Elected officers: President - Fred Beahm, Beahm Design Vice-President - Kirby Davis, First Management Secretary - Neil Lawrence, Vultee Church of Christ Treasurer - Carol Barrett, Executive South Office Building Dues: $25.00/individual and $100.00/business annually. (Part of these dues will
go to help maintain the grass medians along Murfreesboro Road, which TDOT
had acknowledged that its 4 budgeted mowings a year was "probably" not
adequate.) |
